One of the UK’s busiest routes will be closed for nine days from 19th - 27th February to enable essential works.
The line between Three Bridges, Brighton and Lewes will be closed for nine days from 19th - 27th February to enable essential works to be carried out to improve journeys for passengers.
Key projects include the rebuild of Copyhold Junction near Haywards Heath and track renewals at Burgess Hill, Preston Park and in the Clayton tunnel.

Network Rail Engineers will be working around the clock reinforcing embankments to prevent landslips, laying new track, renewing eight sets of points, replacing more than 1500 metres of track and replacing more than 8,000 tonnes of ballast.
